Peacefully, on Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Lakeview Manor in Beaverton, at age 79. Joe Howe, beloved husband of the late Marlene (nee Jenkins). Loved father of Doug (Jayne), Jody (April), Virginia Starr and the late Stephen (1990) (Frances). Devoted grandfather of Sheri-ann (James), Bethany (Travis), Jocie (Adam), Jordan, Ashton, Jonathan, Justin, Taylor (Heather) and Alyssa and great grandfather of Samantha, Emma, Maddix, Iyla, Autumn, Hunter, Brody, Blake and Khloe. Joe will be missed by his surviving brothers and sisters. The family of Joe Howe will receive friends at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw Street South in Cannington (705-432-2672) on Tuesday, May 10th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. A Service to Celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, May 11th at 2 p.m. Private interment at Cedar Vale Cemetery in Cannington. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Hospital for Sick Children Foundation in Toronto. Memories, photos and condolences may be shared at www.thornefuneralhome.ca
