Obituary of Jessie Mae Henderson

Peacefully, after a brief illness and with family by her side on Friday, January 13th, 2017 at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, at age 96. Jessie Henderson (nee Baker), beloved wife of the late William Henderson. Loved mother of Brian and his wife Pat, Lorraine Richardson and her husband Don, Murray and his wife Cindy, Allan and his wife Susan, Terry and Doug (deceased) and his wife Judy. Jessie will be lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jessie Henderson was an active member of her community and a dedicated member of the St. John’s Presbyterian Church in Cresswell. She was often seen outside maintaining her beautiful gardens and when spending time inside enjoyed quilting and reading. The family of Jessie Henderson will receive friends at the THORNE FUNERAL HOME, 109 Laidlaw Street South in Cannington (705-432-2672) on Saturday, January 28th from 1 – 2 p.m. A Service to Celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 2 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the St. John’s Presbyterian Church.
