Peacefully, on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 91. Marinus Verhoog, beloved husband of Ali of Port Perry. Loved father of Teunis and his wife Nancy of British Columbia. Loving grandfather of Nathan (Brice), Christy McClelland (Trevor), Kevin and Ryan (Alexa) and great grandfather of Denay, Paisley, Arya and Beren all of British Columbia. Survived by his siblings Jaantje of Holland, Teunis of Courtice and John of Exeter and predeceased by Cor and Piet. The family of Marinus Verhoog will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Wednesday, May 3rd from 1 – 3 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Service to Celebrate his life will be held at the HOPE CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 14480 Old Simcoe Road in Port Perry on Thursday, May 4th at 11 a.m. Interment Sunderland Cemetery.
