Peacefully, on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at the Orchard Villa, in Pickering, at age 99. Velma (nee Campbell), beloved wife of the late George Willis of Cannington. Loving mother of Ray Willis and his wife Lydia of Pickering, Gary Willis (deceased) and his wife Sharon of Edmonton, and Vernon Willis (deceased) and his wife Barbara of Port Perry. Proud grandmother of Laurie and her husband Brian Trelenberg of Edmonton, Chad Willis and his wife Samantha of Stouffville, and Alecia and her husband Dan Gauthier of Barrie. Dear great grandmother of Levi, Brooke, Dylen, Carson, Will, and Lauren.

The family of Velma Willis will receive friends at the THORNE FUNERAL HOME, 109 Laidlaw Street South in Cannington (705-432-2672) on Friday, May 5th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Service to Celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, May 6th at 11:00 a.m. Interment Cedar Vale Cemetery, Cannington.
