Entered into rest at Lakeridge Health Services in Port Perry, on Wednesday, December 24th, 2008. James Keith Marquis, in his 85th year, was the beloved husband of Marjorie J. Newell. Loving father of Carol (Peter) Duncan of Oshawa, Donna Marquis of Oshawa, David Marquis of Sunderland and Bob (Lorene) Marquis of Sunderland. Dearly remembered by 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Predeceased by infant son James Allan and two sisters Arlene and Jessie. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Memorial Chapel, 98 River Street in Sunderland, on Sunday December 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from the Thorne Memorial Chapel in Sunderland on Monday, December 29th, 2008 at 2:00 pm. Interment Sunderland Cemetery. As a remembrance, donations to the Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated by the family.
