I was so sad to learn of the passing of my dear friend Helen. For many years I kept winter watch of her beloved cottage and kept the snow cleared off the roof. I always looked forward to hearing from Helen when she would call me to see what kind of winter we were having. We shared many lovely conversations over the years. It was the absence of her calling that made me start to wonder and led me to find this sad news. A beautiful soul who I am honored to have called my friend. I shall miss our conversations but will remember her with fondness.
