My dearest friend, how I miss you every single day. I have dreamed of you and thought of you a thousand times. I so hope you are free of the pain you endured. You made such an impact in my life and I cannot believe I cannot FaceTime you at midnight so we can talk til 5AM. I love you so much and I will never have another friend like you. I am so grateful for you and Gary and the dogs we all raised and loved. I love you Kristi. I will never forget you. -Erin

Donnie, Joanne, Elaine and families. I just found out about Kristi's passing. I am very sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of playing baseball with Kristi and of time spent at your farm. I am glad she pursued her passion for horses and dogs throughout her life and had so much success. Such a loss for you and the community.

I will always remember Banana fights, fudgeeo bings, mucking stalls and fast drives in your souped-up pick up. I appreciated that you were kind and tough on me, always kept it real and told me like it was. Never sugar coating it. Rest in peace.

For our Dearest aunt Kristi;
I will never forget the things you taught me, or the words you shared in kind, the impact you’ve had in our lives, and the lives of our children is immeasurable. Kristi was such an avid cheerleader for those she loved!whatever endeavour Nick or I took on for our little family, weather business or building. Kristi and Gary would ALWAYS show up with love and unwavering support and a joke or two. To show how much she cared. I aspire to share her qualities of showing up when it matters most to make sure people know they are thought of. Rest peacefully Aunt Kristi ❤️.

When we meet I was 20 years old. Throughout the years, I looked up to you as a big sister one I did not have. You We're a strong and amazing person And I'm so glad that I met you and that I had got to spend time with you and both sides of the family. I loved going to the farm with you on the weekends I loved it even more when you started breeding the dogs. I learned so much from you regarding animals and life in general all around. We haven't seen each other in years. We still message each other for our birthdays. We message on special occasion. And Just to check in to see what was going on in each of our lives. And to make sure we where doing ok. I will miss are late night talks on messager. And when you thought I was at work you would say woman don't you have kids to get back and Teach, I would be like no, I'm off for the day. Need time for myself and you would say yes you do. I love and will Miss you R.I.P

Kristi you were one of the strongest people that I knew.
You have carried many storms in silence and as of late had risen when life tried to break you. You became my strength before we lost your dad, that being the hardest for you to accept. Now you are together and you can rest in peace. Love Mum

Kristi
Smart, funny, loyal, protective, and beautiful. These are the words that describe our girl.
Kris, Kristi, Aunt Kristi, Mom and Grandma Kristi. This is how we knew her.
She was born in Lindsay on November 28, 1967. Her childhood was spent in Udora and she attended Scott Central Public school and then on to Uxbridge secondary school and finally onto Seneca College. She followed the family tradition and had just a few horses. Some were pets , some were broodmares and some were race horses. she went on to work at Prince Lee acres the home of the great cam fella. She played a big part in raising many offspring of not only Cam fella but many other winners. This is where she met the love of her life, Gary and his wonderful sons, Sean and Billy. Gary and her have spent 35 fun filled years at each other’s sides. She loved him very much. She even told me that he was her Bestie. She decided to branch out and start her own breeding business. This was KLW equine breeders. It was a family affair. Gary, Father Bruce, mother Donnie, sister Joanne, sister Elaine, brother-in-law, Grant, brother-in-law Richard and her nephews Adam, Trevor, Brian, and Nick and her niece Amanda. Everyone was involved. Like I said it was a family affair.
Kristi and Gary then turned to the world of dogs. They have a well established kennel named KGBoxers. They have raised many champions, whose bloodlines will go on for years. I guess we could say she was quite a businesswoman.
Kristi loved pretty much every type of TV show. Reality, movies, game shows, even westerns. Her latest favorite was when she started to watch the Blue Jays with Dad before he passed away last year. It was a tradition she started and wanted to keep up so she always watched their games and knew How they were doing. Kristi faced a lot of challenges and no matter how bad she was feeling she would always call you up and have a smile on her face and make a joke and she very rarely complained.
She was a very proud lady! She always knew what everyone was up to and she was so proud to be part of this big beautiful family! She just loved family gatherings. Her and Mom would research different festive platters that they could get the fixings for and make them up together. If anyone ever needed a hand, Kristi would be there no questions asked just what do you need me to do?
I will miss her almost daily FaceTime calls. We always had things to giggle about and she always made a boring day go by a lot quicker. If she knew somebody was having a bad day, she would do whatever she could to make it better. I know we all will miss how she made us all feel special to her . She knew we were all unique and we knew she was one of a kind. There will never be another girl like her. She could strike up and carry on a conversation with anybody about anything. A real social light. I want to thank everybody for coming today and being part of her life, she loved every single one of you. Mom told me that we can take comfort in knowing that Dad was waiting for her with open arms. He was her idol. I will close with the last words that we said to each other.
She said I’ll talk to you tomorrow. I’m sure you’re gonna hear from me.
I said I love you baby sister.
Good night. Sweet dreams.
She replied Love you more
I Love and Miss you more than you could know.
Elaine
