Diane (nee Farewell) died peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, on Saturday, August 9, 2025, after a relatively short battle with cancer, at age 83. Beloved wife of Larry Amos for 57 years. Loving mother of Michael and his wife Marni, and Elizabeth "Liz" (late Bernie). Cherished Nana of Trent, Ella, Jack and Elana. Predeceased by her parents Margaret (nee McKechnie) and Frank Farewell and her brother and sister-in-law Ted and Wendy Farewell.

A proud member of the Cannington community for over 60 years. Her strong connection to family, friends and church was always apparent and she will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and their families.

The Family of Diane Amos will receive friends and family at the Trinity United Church, 50 Laidlaw Street North in Cannington on Thursday, August 21st from 7 – 9 p.m. A Service to Celebrate her life will be held in the Church on Friday, August 22nd at 2 p.m. with a reception to follow. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Trinity United Church in Cannington through the THORNE FUNERAL HOME, 109 Laidlaw Street South in Cannington (705-432-2672). Memories, photos and condolences may be shared at www.thornefuneralhome.ca.
