Stewart, Robert Alfred
Age 62, of Beaverton (formerly of Peterborough), passed away Wednesday, August 6th at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, surrounded in the love of his large circle of family and friends. Rob is preceded in death by his beloved mother Frances, his step-father Gary Bothwell and his sister Joan Cadman. Dearly loved husband and friend of Elaine Lillico. Rob is survived by his daughters Angela and Ashley and his grandchildren Damien, Swaigh and Derek. He will be greatly missed by his sisters Lynda (Albert) Hatton and Vanessa (Dave) Vyse and his brothers Jim (Val) and David, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Rob was also a cherished member of the Lillico family and a special favourite of his mother-in-law, Orma. Visitation will be held at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw St.S. in Cannington on Tuesday, August 12 from 7 to 9 pm and on Wednesday, August 13 from 1pm until time of Memorial Service at 2:00 pm. Donations in memory of Rob may be made to Hospice Peterborough or Peterborough Regional Health Centre (Palliative Care Unit), or a charity of your choice.
