Harry hired me back in 1985 to work for him in 1985. Prior to that, he was the brother of my mother's best friend, Barb Nixon. My mother is Elva Clarke. I was so sad to hear Harry had passed. Always a wonderful man and very kind!!

We were so very sad to hear of the passing of Harry. From the years growing up tobbogganing on the hills behind the barn and helping with the hay, to having him vouch for me on my first passport, and most recently having him book the church for my wedding, I will always have very fond memories of Mr. Nixon and life on the 3rd. Thoughts and prayers from myself and Dawn, and my brothers. We will be watching for details on the celebration of life to come.

We are very saddened to hear the news about Harry and we extend our sincere sympathy to you Susan and to your family. Stan and I were very happy to meet and get to know Harry, as he was a true gentleman and a scholar. He encouraged me, (Denise), to write the `wee column` for the Standard and was always interested in everything that was going on. He was a real `treasure` to all of us as well as to our communities He will be missed, Stan and Denise Wilson

Condolences - our thoughts and prayers for Susan and the family on the loss of Harry. He was a great friend from University days. We met in 1950 in the Commerce and Finance course and we both became a C.A. Harry was a loyal and very thoughtful fellow over the years. Four long-term classmates met for an annual luncheon at a Kleinburg restaurant. I look forward to the Celebration of Life in June. God bless. Ed Crighton (in Oakville).

I will always remember Cousin Harry's twinkling eyes and smile every year at Christmas gatherings at our house on Oriole Parkway. So sad to hear of his passing. I truly wish we had gotten together again as cousin John Davis from England suggested. Condolences to Susan and all of the family

To Susan and family. We are so saddened to hear of Harry's passing. You were the best neighbors we could have ever asked for! Harry was a great friend and always had a humorous story to tell, his quick wit was always the reason for much laughter. Always proud of his family, his children and even prouder still of his grandchildren! They say good fences make good neighbors, maybe because we spent so much time shoulder to shoulder building those fences together! Great times, wonderful memories of a dear sweet true gentleman! Love you Harry!! Hugs to you Susan. Laura, Angie and Audrey.

Our sympathy to Susan and family. I am glad I knew Harry. He was such a positive man and could always find the best in people and under difficult situations. He was a very devoted family man and shared some great stories about his grandchildren. An Historical Society meeting would find him exchanging puns with Larry. It was like they studied to outdo the other. He offered the right advice at just the right time. He leaves this world a better for having been here among us. We will truly miss those blue eyes and gentle smile.

We were very sorry to hear of Harry's death. He sure was a great friend of Dad's. I'm sure they are up in Heaven organizing something historical. He will be missed in the community, especially the Historical Society.
