Obituary of Lynda Welch

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lynda Welch (nee Miller), at the age of 69. After a courageous battle with cancer, Lynda died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Lynda will be forever missed by her loving husband of 52 years and lifelong best friend Larry Welch. She was the amazing and much loved mother of Janie (Bern) Kelly and Rick (Cathy) Welch. Adored by grandchildren Alyssa, Samantha and Nicole Welch, Kyle and Keenan Kelly and great-grandson Isaac Welch. Greatly missed by her sisters Myrtle Alldred and Lucille Haight. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home, 98 River Street in Sunderland, on Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday, April 28th, 2014 at 2:00 pm. Interment Sunderland Cemetery. If desired, donations to Lakeridge Regional Cancer Centre, the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice, would be gratefully appreciated.
