HEARD, Mary Erma (nee Kendrick) Entered into rest at Caressant Care, Mary St., Lindsay on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 in her 94th year with her family by her side. Erma has gone to be with her beloved husband Victor Heard (1976) and her dear son Fred, and will be sadly missed by her loving daughter Mary (Sieg Petersen). Dear "Gram" to Trevor (Tracey), Jon (June), and Jason (Kristy). She is the dear sister-in-law of Norma Johnson (late Harold) of Marathon, the late Anna Mae Metherel (late Jerry Breen) of Sebright, the late Reta Kalincak (Tom) of Manitouwadge, and the late Chester Heard (late Ruth) of Beaverton. Erma will be fondly remembered by the Kendrick family in Simcoe, the Petersen family, as well as her nieces, nephews and her many longtime friends. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, June 2, 2014 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw St., South, Cannington, ON. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday at 2:00pm followed by interment at the Eden Cemetery.
