Obituary of Ross Miller

Miller, Ross Henry August 13,1926 - July 22, 2014 Ross spent his entire life in Sunderland. That is where his spirit will reside. He will be in our hearts forever - his wife Marion for 63 years, daughter Susan (Randy), son Glenn (Maxine) and his favourite grandson Scott. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Ross is survived by his sister Marie. Predeceased by his brother Earlby and parents Stanley and Mildred Miller. Ross dedicated his life to his family, the business of dairy farming and to serving his community. He will be fondly remembered by countless members of the Ontario Holstein Association, the Ontario Plowmen's Association and the Sunderland Co-op. His greatest passions in life were Sunderland Minor Hockey, the Sunderland Lions Club and St. Andrew's United Church. Always quick with a smile, a helping hand and a whistle - so many stories and unforgettable memories. Small in stature - huge in heart. Strike out a straight furrow Ross and rest in peace. Friends are invited to visit at St. Andrew's United Church, 10 Church St. in Sunderland, on Sunday, July 27, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Memorial Service in the Church on Monday, July 28, 2014 at 2:00 pm. As a remembrance, donations to St. Andrew's United Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated.
