Obituary of Alma Sormin

Alma Sormin Entered into rest peacefully surrounded by family at the North York General Hospital on Friday, August 1st, 2014. Alma Octavia Sormin (nee Manullang) in her 95th year, was the beloved wife of the late Mian Pastin Sormin. Loving mother of Alice Togi (Marten Keyer), Beatrice Dame (Winston Galloway), Clarence Sahat Matuah Sormin ( Sunipa Supanunt), Dorothea Petua ( the late John Rodeback), Edwin Mangarajah Paramonang Sormin (Bonnie Anderson) and Florence Asi ( the late John Keen Ban). Devoted grand mama of Alice Keyer, Martin Keyer, Winston Halomoan Galloway (Kym Stuart), Linda Rotua Sormin (Seth Hisiger), Clarence Oloan Sormin (Janelle Scheunemen), Shawna Mutiara Sormin (John Staruck), Chad Parmonang Sormin, Timothy Hashoian Sormin (Lindsay Brown), Gracelyn Hasian Ban (Don Lloyd), and Randy Parulian Ban (Shandra Gieck). Dearly remembered by her great grandchildren Asia and Ella Galloway, Oloan, Elias and Emily Sormin, Don and Kai Lloyd, and Oliver and Lucy Ban. Friends are invited to attend a visitation at College Park Church, 1164 King St. E. in Oshawa on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Another visitation will take place on Thursday, August 7, at Willowdale Seventh-day Adventist Church, 535 Finch Ave. W., Toronto, ON from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 am.
