Donald Hughes entered into rest at Hillsdale Estate in Oshawa on Thursday June 26th, 2008. Donald Stanley Hughes in his 86th year was the beloved husband of the late Norma Doreen Kendall (2004). Loving father of Glenda Dearing and her companion Mike of Grimsby, Donald and Kathy Hughes of Oshawa and Denise and Martin Kuypers of Uxbridge. Dearly remembered by his grandchildren Gene and his wife Terri, Scott, Jennifer, Kelly, Melissa and Kody. Dear great Grampa of Tyson, Carson and Liam. Predeceased by one daughter Donna Richard (2006) and two brothers Edgar and Raymond (Gus). Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home in Cannington on Sunday June 29th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service in the Chapel on Monday at 2 pm. Cremation and inurnment later at Riverside Cemetery Lindsay. As a remembrance donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
