Lillian Nixon Entered into rest at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Thursday, December 18, 2014. Lillian Frances Nixon (nee Barker), in her 94th year, was the beloved wife of 68 years of the late George Fred Nixon (2010). Loving mother of Carol and David, Judy and Clifton, Mark and Dallas, Grant and Pat. Dear grandma of Todd, Cliff, Colleen, Mary Lue, Jane, Chantel, Zoe, Matthew, Alexander, Brent, Jaimie and.22 great grandchildren. Survived by one brother Jim Barker and one sister Marion French. Predeceased by one son Jim (1996 ) and two sisters Florence and Elinor. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home , 109 Laidlaw St. S. in Cannington, on Sunday, December 21st from 7-9 pm. Funeral Service from Cresswell Presbyterian Church, 97 Cresswell Road, RR Manilla on Monday, December 22nd, 2014 at 11:00 am. Visitation in the Church from 10:00 am until time of Service at 11:00 am. Internment of cremated remains later at St. Andrews Cemetery in Orillia. As a remembrance, donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Hospital for Sick Children, would be appreciated.
