Obituary of Bessie Louisa Fligg

Fligg, Ruth "Tis a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known" ... Charles Dickens Entered into rest peacefully at Extendicare Kawartha Lakes in Lindsay on Saturday, January 31st, 2015. Bessie Louisa Ruth Fligg (nee Clarkson), in her 94th, year, was the beloved wife of the late Carman E. Fligg (2002). Survived by her daughters Margaret Rose (LeRoy) Baker and Donna (Edward) Cragg and her sons Gordon (Eileen) Paddley, Robert Fligg and Earl Fligg. Dearly remembered by 14 grandchildren, 31 great grand- children and 5 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughter Sharon Elizabeth Fligg, her grandson Edward Cragg, her brothers Robert (Burt) Clarkson, Stanley Clarkson, and sisters Rose (George) Taylor, Frances (Erwin) Martens and Phyllis (William) Juniper. Ruth has gone home to look after her family and to be greeted by the loving arms of our Father in Heaven. Her loving warmth and kindness will be greatly missed by all. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw St.S. in Cannington on Saturday, February 7th, 2015 from 12:00 noon until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2:00 pm.
