Obituary of Marie Down

Down, Marie Entered into rest peacefully with family by her side at the Bon Air Nursing Home in Cannington on Wednesday, February 4th, 2015. Marie Estelle Down (nee White) in her 95th year, was the beloved wife of the late Allan E. Down (1997). Loving mother of Elsie of Stockton CA, Grant (Helen) of Sorrento BC, Brian (predeceased) (Joyce), Wayne (Doris) of Sunderland, Lois (Lynn) Brown of Port Hope, Margaret (Brian) Curtis of Sunderland and Carol (Dale) St. John of Sunderland. Much loved grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Dearly remembered by her sister Edith Randall of London, England and her Down-in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one granddaughter Diana and one infant son. Friends are invited to call at St. Andrews United Church, 10 Church St. N. in Sunderland on Friday, February 6th, 2015 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service from Ebenezer United Church, 1669 Courtice Road in Courtice on Saturday, February 7th, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Interment Ebenezer Church Cemetery. As a remembrance, donations to St. Andrews United Church in Sunderland, would be gratefully appreciated.
