Entered into rest at Extendicare Haliburton on Wednesday, April 15, 2015. Howard Clinton Thomas, in his 99th year, was the beloved husband of the late Kathleen (Kay) McDonald (1999). Loving father of Margaret (Gary) Hildenbrand, Helen (Tony) Rasenberg, John (Janet) Thomas, Jean (John) Andrus and Barbara (Gary) Budd. Dear grandfather of Jackie (Jeff), Cory (Tania), Jeff (Belinda), Stephen (Becky), Lisa (Dave), Becky, Karen, Kevin (Stephanie), Courtney, Julie (Kaleb), Heather (Drew), Daryl and Kristin. Dearly remembered by ten great grandchildren and sister-in-law Margaret Thomas. Predeceased by one son James (1963) and grandson Bryan (1987) and all his siblings Ruth, Leslie, Elsie, Ethel, Warne, Alma and Stanley. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw St. S. in Cannington on Friday, April 17, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service from Woodville United Church ( Nappadale & King St.) in Woodville on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Interment Smith's Cemetery, Woodville. As a remembrance, donations to Woodville United Church or the Woodville Senior Citizens, would be gratefully appreciated.
