Joy Shier entered into rest peacefully at Providence Healthcare in Toronto on Saturday October 22, 2011 in her 94th year. Ruth Emily Joy Shier RN. was the beloved daughter of the late William and Eliza Shier. Loving sister of the late Queda Rummerfield and the late Anna Fitzpatrick. Dearly remembered by her nephew Jim Rummerfield. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home in Cannington on Wednesday October 26, 2011 from 7-9 pm. Funeral service complete in the Chapel on Thursday at 1 pm. Interment later at All Saints Cemetery Cannington. As a remembrance donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
