Margaret Florence Patterson (nee Foord)
On Sunday, November 9, 2008, in her 96th year. Margaret passed away peacefully with her cherished daughter Suzanne, by her side. Predeceased by her parents Sidney & Florence Foord of Ashern, Manitoba. Margaret and her late husband Kenneth (Pat) Patterson (1994), became longtime residents of Highland Creek, before coming to settle in Uxbridge. Margaret was the dear mother of Suzanne & her husband Bryan Lomas. The special grandmother of Jessica (Stephen) & Robert (Elissa). She was anxiously waiting the birth of her first grand baby Lomas. She was predeceased by her sisters Katherine Porteus & Anne Wilkie/Merleau. Margaret is remembered by her niece Linda Woodhouse & her nephew Michael (Cheryl) Merleau & family. Friends are invited to join in a celebration of Margaret's life on Sunday, November 16, 2008 at 3:00 pm at the Thorne Memorial Chapel, 98 River St. in Sunderland. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Scugog Animal Shelter or the Salvation Army.
