Obituary of Marilyn Short

Short, Marilyn Entered into rest peacefully at her son's home in Oshawa, on Sunday, January 4th, 2009. Marilyn Louise Short (nee Johnston), in her 66th year, was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Short (2003). Loving mother of Richard (Donna) of Frankford, Randal (Tracey) of Oshawa and Leane (Greg Haggerty) of Stirling. Cherished 'grandma' of Mason & Taya, Katie, Sarah & Heather. Dear sister of Glen, Muriel, Allen and Gary. Predeceased by one brother Gordon and one sister Phyllis. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw St.S., in Cannington, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Wednesday, January 7th, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Interment Sunderland Cemetery. As a remembrance, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated by the family.
