Obituary of John Graham

Dr. John Edward Graham Passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving wife Barbara on Sunday, February 8, 2009. John will always be remembered by his son Scott, daughter Ashleigh and siblings Ken, Bruce, Paul, Barbara and his late sister Mary. John will be missed by his nieces and nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law, Anne, Wes and Barbara and Jim and Barbara. A graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College 1968, John enjoyed a distinguished career at South Shore Veterinary Clinic. Dr. John was an original member of Keswick Kinsmen, and founder and President of the York Veterinary Association and a member of the ethics and discipline committee for the Ontario Veterinary College. In his spare time, John volunteered for local charities, participated in the Georgina men's basketball and softball leagues and played guitar and keyboards in the Black River Band. He was also a member of the Ravenshoe United Church. The Graham family will be eternally grateful to friends and family, as well as Newmarket Health Centre staff, for their dedication, compassion and kindness to Dr. John during his lengthy journey with Alzheimer's disease.
