Entered into rest at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, on Wednesday, March 11th, 2009. Robert Stanley Cyril Wannop, in his 80th year, was the beloved husband of Joyce Killey of Cannington. Loving father of Elinor (Tom) Gallant of Millbrook, Brenda (Tom) Dalzell of Pickering, Marilyn (Bob) Jewell of Sunderland, Robert (Tammy) Wannop of Orono, Brian (Judy) Wannop of Omemee and John (Sandra) Wannop of Woodville. Dearly remembered by 14 grandchildren, Robin, Ron, Jordon, Matthew, Derek, Scott, Bruce, Shawn, Ryan, Melissa, Mellanie, Jody, Andrew and Allanah. Also 13 great grandchildren, Calvin, Carson, Justin, Taylor, Timmothy, Ashleigh, Cody, Kylie, Brandon, Hunter, Carter, Alysha and Justice. Predeceased by all his siblings, Dora Crawford, Richard, Arden, Gilbert, Donald and Marjorie Hughson. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home 109 Laidlaw St.S., in Cannington on Saturday, March 14th, 2009 from 2:00 pm until time of Memorial Service at 3:00 pm. As a remembrance, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Cancer Society or a charity of your choice, would be appreciated by the family.
