Douglas Harold Fair
Entered into rest at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, on Tuesday, April 28th, 2009. Doug Fair, in his 94th year, was the beloved husband of Betty Woodward (1972). Loving father of Marie Geelen (John) of Little Britain and the late Harold Fair (2001) (Kim) of Sunderland. Dear Papa Doug to his grandchildren Jillian Fair (Gordon Andrews), Matthew Fair, David Geelen (Paula), Jim Geelen (Ruth Ann), Dennis Geelen (Jennifer) and eight great grandchildren Kasey & Jacob, Quinton & Brayden, and Damon, Alyssa Lynn, Logan & Isaac. Predeceased by 9 brothers and sisters. Survived by 1 sister-in-law Vera Fair. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Memorial Chapel, 98 River Street in Sunderland, on Thursday, April 30th, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service from St. Andrews United Church in Sunderland on Friday, May 1st, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Interment Sunderland Cemetery. As a remembrance, donations to Sunderland United Church, would be appreciated by the family.
