Obituary of Ruby George

Ruby Phyllis George (nee best) Passed away following a sudden illness at the Markham-Stouffville Hospital-Uxbridge Site, on Friday, May 18th 2012. Ruby resided in Uxbridge, ON with her daughter Dianne. Born in St. John's, Newfoundland, Ruby entered into rest at the age of 90, surrounded by her immediate family. Predeceased by her loving parents, Frederick E. and Annie Best of St. John's Newfoundland and three siblings, Barbara, Nelson and Harry. Forever remembered and deeply missed by her daughter Dianne George-Guenin of Uxbridge, ON, her sister Joyce Chiasson (nee Best) of St. John's NL, granddaughters Denean (Philippe), Debbie (Joseph) of Oshawa, ON, grandson Glen of Toronto, ON and very special great-granddaughter Nadia (parents Denean & Philippe). Ruby will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and cousins in Newfoundland, Ontario and the United States. Many thanks to all her good friends and family for their prayers and support. A graveside service and burial will be held for the family at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in St. John's Newfoundland. Thanks to the nurses and staff at "Uxbridge Cottage Hospital" who cared for Ruby and a SPECIAL thank you to Dr. Steven Chin.
