Obituary of Norma Real

Eileen Real (nee Hope) Passed away peacefully at Thornton View Long Term Care in Oshawa on Monday, June 8th, 2009, in her 88th year. Predeceased by her husband Frank and son Bob (Norma). Survived by her children Don (Margaret) of Sunderland, Bill (Lezlie) of Port Perry, Barb Partridge (Colin) of Thornton, Sharon of Scarborough, Joe (Linda) of Stouffville and Sandra Hood (Scott) of Oakville. Loving grandmother of thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Survived by her sister Alma Manns (Tom d) and brothers Keith (Margery d), Ken (Mavis), Allan (Greta) and Roy (Dorothy) and sister-in-law Margaret Real. Predeceased by sister Mary Wolsley (Craig d) and brothers Bill (Kathleen) and Merle (Joan). We are grateful to the caring staff at Thornton View for their many kindnesses. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Memorial Chapel, 98 River St. in Sunderland on Wednesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Memorial Service will be held from Seagrave United Church on Thursday, June 11th, 2009 at 11:00 am. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice.
