I knew (Archibald) John for may years as a brother-in law. He always made us welcome when we visited and I remember particularly a trip we made on his boat as well as visiting in Scotland and his garden there. I think of John every Christmas when I make the stuffing for the turkey- I never changed the recipe because he enjoyed it so much! I even miss his corny jokes.... the last years were not easy and I hope he made a smooth landing on his final flight!
