Marion Kathlene Durward (nee Snooks) Entered into rest peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Sunday, August 16th, 2009 in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late James Durward (1981). Loving mother of Lloyd & Donna (both predeceased), Eileen & Walter Dee (both predeceased), Earl & Joan, Ruby & Keith Tindall, Robert & Jo-Ann, Isabel & John Skelton, Gordon & Jane, Murray & Grace, Charlie & Maisie, Patricia & Wayne Bailey and Larry (predeceased) & his wife Susan. Dear sister of Muriel & (Oscar predeceased) Gibson, the late Harold & Marie Snooks and the late Ray Snooks. Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Lois. Sadly missed by her 28 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Dearest sister-in-law of the late George & Evelyn Durward, the late Ronald Durward and the late Evelyn Edgerton. Dearly remembered by sister-in-law Joan Durward and brother-in-law Maurice Edgerton. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Memorial Chapel, 98 River St. in Sunderland, on Thursday, August 20th, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service from St. Andrews United Church in Sunderland on Friday, August 21st , 2009 at 1:30 pm. Interment Sunderland Cemetery. As a remembrance, donations to Seagrave United Church, the Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated by the family.
