To the extended Hannigan family: Our hearts were filled with pain when we learned on Friday morning of the sudden and unexpected passing of our friend and colleague, Peter. Peter was a trusted colleague and staff member at the Ministry of Transportation who could always be counted on. He was extremely knowledgeable on a multitude of driver and vehicle related information and systems at MTO. He never hesitated to share that knowledge with others, while continuously expanding his own. Customer service was always paramount in his dealings with clients, and he went beyond the call of duty to ensure that his clients were always well served. Peter's love of gardening as well as tales of his beloved cats were widely shared with his colleagues at work - we were always thrilled when Peter brought in beautiful floral bouquets that were grown in his garden. He will be forever in our hearts and minds, and sadly missed by his colleagues and friends at MTO. With our deepest sympathies to his son, parents, sister, brother, nieces and all other family members.
