Muriel York
Died unexpectedly after a short illness August 19,2009 at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay. Beloved wife of the late Donald Robert York. Predeceased by parents Verna Drinkwalter and Frederick Fischer. Survived by her sons Steven York (Janet) , Brian York (Shelly) and grandchildren Ryan, Adam and Leah York. The family would like to thank the staff at Bon Air nursing home in Cannington, especially Tang, Darlene and Jane , for taking such good care of Muriel for the last three years. Muriel is also survived by her sister Marion Levinter, special niece Beth Kuhlmann and dear friends Nancy and Crystal. Memorial service will be held September 11th, 2009 at 3:00 pm at the Thorne Funeral Home in Cannington. Visitation will be held from 2 until 3 pm. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciated donations to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes. Please contact Steve York at 647-287-1146 for further information.
