Phyllis Arksey entered into rest peacefully at Port Perry Community Hospital on Monday October 12, 2009 in her 84th year. Phyllis Valine Peel of Cannington was the beloved wife of the late Erle Arksey (2005). Loving mother of Merle and Ken Wilson of Port Perry, Stewart and Ellen Arksey and Daryl and Lori Arksey all of Cannington. Dearly remembered by her grandchildren Kimberly Wilson, Stacey and Eric Depooter, Kevin and Deanna Arksey, Melissa and Stephanie Arksey. Fondly remembered by brother-in-law Ted Dunnett. Predeceased by brother Gerald Peel and sister Orma Dunnett. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home 109 Laidlaw Street South Cannington on Thursday October 15th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service from Trinity United Church Laidlaw Street North Cannington on Friday at 2:00 pm. Interment of cremated remains later at Cedar Vale Cemetery.
