Obituary of Neil Brogan

Neil Brogan died peacefully at his home in Cannington on Monday October 19, 2009 in his 76th year. He lived a full and happy life, one that he shared for 53 years with his loving wife Isa. Neil was a quiet blessing and simply remarkable for being a profoundly kind, gentle and decent man. A devoted husband, dedicated father, a caring grandfather and a considerate friend. In his passing we have a sense of real loss. He will be missed. Born in Glasgow Scotland, Neil served in the British Army before immigrating to Canada in 1957. In addition to Isa he is survived by his children Neil, Graham and Lynne, their partners Kelly, Cathie and Tim and his grandchildren Ryan, Michael, James, Allison, Anna, Ceilidh and Aislinn. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home 109 Laidlaw Street South Cannington on Monday October 26, 2009 from 1 pm until time of memorial service in the Chapel at 2 pm. Interment of cremated remains at Cedar Vale Cemetery. As a remembrance the family encourages random acts of kindness and consideration.
