Kathleen McLeod
Entered into rest peacefully at the Bon Air Nursing Home in Cannington on Tuesday, December 1st, 2009. Stella Kathleen McLeod (nee Sonley), in her 96th year, was the beloved wife of the late Norman Baird McLeod (1991). Loving mother of Neil & Gayle McLeod of Cresswell, Doris & Peter Tietze of Ajax and Glenis & Lionel Bell of Keswick. Dearly remembered by her grandchildren Ian Tietze, Arlene (Michael) Roberts, Danielle Bell, Dannette (David) Lund, Michelle McLeod and Philip (Jennifer) McLeod and her six great grandchildren Taylor, Meaghan, Ruth-Ann, Meghan, Jayde and Tyler. Survived by one sister Madeline Adams of Unionville. Predeceased by sisters Evelyn, Audrey and infant Doris and by brothers Frank, Ernest and Lloyd. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw St.S., in Cannington, on Friday, December 4th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday, December 5th, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Interment McNeil Cemetery in Wick. As a remembrance, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Cancer Society, would be appreciated.
