Obituary of Elva Baker

Elva Baker Entered into rest at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital on Saturday, December 19th, 2009. Elva May Baker, in her 81st year, was the only daughter of the late Oscar and Ena (McIllmurray) Baker. Elva lived her entire life in the Vallentyne and Udora area and was a faithful worker at Comco in Uxbridge for many years. Elva was also one of the longest employees at Langstaff Card Company near Port Bolster where she worked for over 37 years until she was 79 years of age. Survived by several cousins. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Memorial Chapel, 98 River Street in Sunderland, on Tuesday, December 22nd from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Interment St John Cemetery in Brock Township. As a remembrance, donations to Uxbridge Cottage Hospital, Udora or Vroomanton United Churches, would be appreciated.
