Winnifred Harris It is with sadness that the family of Winnifred Harris announces her passing on Sunday, January 10th, 2010 in her 93rd year. She was a dynamic woman who lived a full and rewarding life and will be remembered by all who knew her for her energy and strength of character. Win was predeceased by her beloved husband James (2008), her blessed infant son Walter and her cherished granddaughter Melanie. Survived by her loving sons John of Lindsay, Glenn & Beverley of Port Perry and Alan & Susan of Langton. Dear grandmother of Julie & Chad Arie, Jamie, Brian, Rebecca, Jenny, Krystabel, Cari and Ryann. Great grandmother of Tayler, Jaime, Dominic, Ethen, Jaidyn and Brooklyn. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Memorial Chapel, 98 River St. in Sunderland, on Wednesday, January 13 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Thursday, January 14th, 2010 at 2:00 pm. Interment of cremated remains later at Stouffville Cemetery. As a remembrance, donations to Trinity United Church in Cannington or a charity of your choice, would be appreciated by the family.
