Ronald Henry Hambleton
Originally of London England, working life in Montreal, Quebec and retired to Sunderland in 1982. Beloved husband of the late Greta (2004). Dad to Brian and his wife Laura, Wendy and her husband David and Nancy and her husband George. Grandad to Sara, Eric, Lindsay, Lisa, Kristina and Erin. Passed peacefully on Monday, February 1st, 2010, in his 88th year, in the superb care of the staff at Elginwood Long Term Care Facility. A Celebration of Ron's life will be held from the Thorne Memorial Chapel, 98 River Street in Sunderland on Sunday, February 7th, from 3 pm until 5 pm. The family would like to encourage casual dress and if desired, donations to the Salvation Army.
