Velma Miller
Entered into rest at Lakeridge Health Services in Oshawa on Tuesday, September 14th, 2010. Velma Jean Miller (nee Charter), in her 93rd year, was the beloved wife of the late James William (Jimmy) Miller (1995). Predeceased by her parents James Charter and Mabel Brittain and by one sister Eileen. Dearly remembered by several cousins including Hazel Turgeon and Elinor Charters and by many friends, especially Shirley Snoddon. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Memorial Chapel, 98 River Street in Sunderland, on Thursday September 16th from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service from St. Andrews United Church in Sunderland on Friday, September 17th, 2010 at 1:00 pm. Interment Sunderland Cemetery. As a remembrance, donations to Sunderland United Church or Lakeridge Health Hospital in Oshawa, would be appreciated.
