Time to say goodbye to Doris Carter May 16, 1926 - January 16, 2011 We are so thankful for a wonderful mother and grandmother. Peacefully at the Bon Air Nursing Home in Cannington, Doris Carter (nee Jones). Dearest mother of Yvonne Cannon of Cannington. Devoted grandmother of Robert (Kathy), Timothy, James (Lori) and Andrea (Colin). Loving great grandmother of Kaitlin, Taylor, Marley, Carter, Ethan, Timothy, Jacqueline, Scott, James and Jaxon. Dearly remembered by Kathy Stefanov. Survived by her sister Audrey Contini and sisters-in-law Lillian and Muriel and brother-in-law Dave, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her adoring husband Alf (2006) and cherished son Keith Carter ( 1996) and infant son Colin (1947). A Celebration of the life of Doris Carter will be held by the family at a later date. If desired, donations to the Childrens Wish Foundation or the Alzheimer's Society, would be appreciated and can be made through the Thorne Funeral Home, Cannington.
