Myrtle Black Entered into rest at the Bon Air Nursing Home in Cannington on Monday, March 21st, 2011. Myrtle Eileen Black (nee Burgess), in her 89th year, was the beloved wife of the late John Francis Black (1984). Loving mother of Gladys Yeomanson - Pegg of Woodville, Violet & Garfield Jones of Mount Forest, Edna & Bill Brown of Port Bolster, Marion (Molly) Marshall & companion Cameron McCrimmon of Sutton, Dorothy & Harvey Marshall of Lindsay, Mary & Carl Norton of Port Bolster and Betty Kingsland of Sutton West. Dearly remembered by 26 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and 33 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Ross Burgess of Keswick and Helen Brown of Lorneville. Predeceased by one great granddaughter Brittany, one brother Bernard Burgess and one sister Brenda Cook. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw St.S. in Cannington on Thursday, March 24th from 7-9 pm. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Friday, March 25th, 2011 at 1:00 pm. Interment St. Andrews Cemetery in Bolsover. As a remembrance, donations to the Parkinson's Society, would be appreciated.
