Elma Moore Entered into rest peacefully at Lakeview Manor in Beaverton on Wednesday, March 30th, 2011. Elma Melina Moore (nee Ware), in her 92nd year, was the beloved wife for 70 years of Kenneth Alfred Moore. Loving mother of Jim (Barb) of Cannington, Rick (Candice) of Oshawa, Tom (Joanne) of Coboconk and Erin (Erich) Tratnik of Uxbridge. Proud grandmother of Jean-Paul, Joy, Jennifer, Robyn, Chris, Mitchell and Jessica and great grandchildren Brooklyn, Bradley, Meghan, Lauren, Preston, Jack, Ellie, Kaitlyn and Alex.Dear sister of Mabel Ware and June Fisher. Predeceased by siblings Ruth Blackburn, Loiuse Kirk, Bob Ware, Marjory Walker, Charles Ware, Mary Tyler and James Ware.Elma was a longtime employee of Simpson's and an active member of St. Saviour's Anglican Church in Toronto. Her family spent many wonderful years cottaging of Shadow Lake in Coboconk. Elma and Ken retired to Cannington in 1983 and were actively involved in All Saints Anglican Church and the Cannington Historical Society. Elma was Ontario's Volunteer Service Award recipient in 2001. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home in Cannington on Sunday, April 3rd, 2001 from 1:00 pm until time of Funeral Service at 3:00 pm. Interment of cremated remains at All Saints Anglican Cemetery. As a remembrance, donations to Parkinson's Society or a charity of choice, would be appreciated.
