Nora Burke
Entered into rest peacefully at the Bon Air Nursing Home in Cannington on Wednesday, June 29th, 2011. Nora Burke (nee Clarke),n her 93rd year, was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Carter (1951) and the late Frank Burke (1985). Loving mother of Dianne Lyn (Steve) Gillies of Lagoon City, Rick (Diane) Burke of Pickering and Steven (Bud) (Joanne) Burke of Mississauga. Dearly remembered by her grandchildren Jeremy (Erika), Amanda (Colin), Adam, Tyler (Mandy), Alyson and great grandchildren Merryn and Brier. Predeceased by her siblings Mary Gough, Bess Brott and Tom Clarke. Nora cherished visits from her granddogs Blitz and Bailey. The family are very grateful to the staff of Bon Air for the exceptional care given to Nora. Friend's are invited to attend a Celebration of Nora's life at the Lagoon City Community Centre at 84 Laguna Parkway in Lagoon City near Brechin Ontario on Wednesday, July 6th, 2011 starting at 1:00 pm. As a remembrance, donations to the Bon Air Nursing Home in Cannington or a charity of your choice, would be appreciated.
