Elizabeth Lummiss
Entered into rest peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Thursday August 4th, 2011 after a short fight with cancer. Alice Elizabeth Olga Perkins was the loving mother of Lillian (Warren) of Cannington, devoted grandmother of Leilania and Danica with a special place in her heart for Allan. Dear sister of Pamela (Joseph), Susan (George) and David (Debra). Elizabeth was an active member of Knox Presbyterian Church (on Spadina in Toronto) and in Cannington (now Beacon). She was a special woman who was always there for her friends and family and will be greatly missed. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw St.S. in Cannington, on Sunday, August 7th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Trinity United Church, 50 Laidlaw St.N. in Cannington on Monday, August 8th, 2011 at 1:00 pm. Interment later at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto for the family. As a remembrance, donations to the Canadian Food for the Hungry International, would be appreciated.
