Entered into rest at Peterborough Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 15th, 2011. Robert Charles (Bob) English, in his 89th year, was the beloved husband for 62 years of Laurene English (nee Carruthers) of Manilla. Loving father of Susan James, Tom English, Lois Hamlin and Dan English. Devoted grandfather of Kyle Bloomfield, Gregory Bloomfield, John Webb, Rebecca English, Holly English, Matthew English, Laura English, Chad Westcott, Jeffrey Westcott, Amanda English, Justin English and great grandchildren Thaddeus & Isabelle Bloomfield, Morgan & Alexandra Westcott, Cody & Briele Westcott and Sierra Vaughan. Predeceased by his sister Norma Patton and his brother William English. Friends are invited to call at Sunderland United Church, 10 Church St. in Sunderland on Monday, September 19th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service in the Church on Tuesday, September 20th, 2011 at 1:30 pm. Interment Sunderland Cemetery. As a remembrance, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
