I just came across your dear mothers obituary. I wish I could have been able to give these condolences in person. I am sorry for your loss Lauren and the Gillen family. I have very found memories of times during our high school years we spend at your parents house. Your mother was always so gracious and kind to me. A very Sophisticated lady whom I will always remember.

For almost 50 years Hazel & George were our great next door neighbors on Mary St. We thank God that we knew them as well as their family. Interesting that Arn's sister 96 is living at Bon Air in Cannington. If that is where your mom was & same place Olive Chambers is I can't help wonder if when we visited there that just maybe Hazel was there at the same time????We moved to an apartment on Taunton Rd. Feb. 2015

On behalf of myself and my parents, Adrian and Corry Van De Vossenberg, I want to offer our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to Hazel's family. Both George and Hazel were dear friends of my parents, thanks to all their years as members of the St. Gregory's choir. Our lives were touched personally by both George and Hazel, who were two of the most classy and elegant people we will ever know. May they have eternal peace together with God.
