I've met a lot of friend's mothers in my last 60 years. June was the best of all of them. She was very kind, genuine, very generous and had the most wonderful, unforgettable smile. It is a very sad day! My condolences go out to the whole family. This is a big loss. She will always be fondly remembered in my heart and soul. Sadly, I will not be able to attend the service but my thoughts and sympathy are with all of you.

My first memories of my Grammy go way back to when my mom used to take me to watch her making donuts at Eatons, I believe. As a small child she taught me how to play crazy eights, I think the anti was a nickel, I usually had .25 cents in my pocket to play. Watching many card games at her house I finally graduated to playing Euker and Shooter, which I have many found memories of. We all bonded as a family playing card games together. Lots of laughs and memories in those games. Especially teaching my husband Darin,the game of shooter, he had to learn fast, and boy if he made a mistake we all told him. He also has many found memories of those game and of you. You were a carefree sole. Thank you Grammy for all my found memories and the wonderful legacy that you brought into this world, you wil always be in my heart. Till we meet again. Love, Sandra, Darin, Sydney and Jack.
