It was with sadness I heard of Mabel,s passing.
In 1980 I arrived in Cannington to open my insurance & investment business in Cannington.
I was a mere 26 yrs old but found many people in the town very kind and receptive to someone who could give give them an alternative to the bank in town.
Mabel was one of those people . Always friendly and was very gracious and helped me with getting to know her circle of friends in a small town.
That started my business and 36 yrs later we now are in Lindsay and have a family business , thx to the clients that have been with me for such a long time.
Its my belief that Mabel is now in heaven and someday we will see her again. That alone can give us comfort at this time of sorrow.
