Obituary of Florence Jean Smith

(nee Orange) Peacefully, on Friday, April 29, 2016, Flo passed away at Bon Air Long Term Care Residence in Cannington, ON with her family at her side. A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she will be deeply missed by her daughters Erin (Lee), Dawn (Murray), son-in-law Bill, granddaughters Christie (Marc), Kirsten (Arun), and Caitie (Graham), her great-grandchildren Kieran, Milenne, and Manon, and all of her extended family. She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Gordon and daughter Kerry. She will be remembered for her exceptional creativity, joy for life, and bright smile by all she touched. The family of Florence Smith will receive friends at the THORNE FUNERAL HOME, 109 Laidlaw Street in Cannington (705-432-2672) on Thursday, May 5th from 10 - 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. with Tim Tokrud officiating.
