Obituary of Diane Jennifer Affleck

Beloved wife of 41 years to George Affleck. Devoted mother to James (Lanny) and wife, Miriam, and Jennifer and husband, Jordan Webb. Cherished Grandma of Hannah, Naomi, Rebekah, Elijah, Nathaniel, Rachel, and Malachi. Born in Huntsville, Ontario and pre-deceased by parents Stanley Earl and Grace Earl (nee Fowler). Dear sister of Joan Topps (nee Earl), Tom Earl and John Earl. A born-again believer and dedicated to her church, Unionville Baptist and Cannington Baptist. She had a deep appreciation for God’s creation and enjoyed walking. A selfless and loving caregiver, Diane was a long-time registered nurse at York Central Hospital (Mackenzie Health) Richmond Hill. Though she was taken suddenly to her eternal resting place with God, her compassionate and kind spirit to all will never be forgotten. The family will receive guests on Monday, August 22nd from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw Street South in Cannington and on Tuesday, August 23rd from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Unionville Baptist Church, 243 Main Street, Unionville, (Markham). A Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23rd at the Unionville Baptist Church, 243 Main Street, Unionville. Flowers may be sent to Unionville Baptist Church or in lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Blind Mission would be greatly appreciated.
