Dear Jackie,
So blessed to have known Mike for the short time he spent time in the hospital, and to have the priviledge to share our hopes and cares with each other as we travel on this journey to care for our dear husbands. My heart goes out to you and the rest of the family as you say good-bye to your much-loved and loving Mike. His smile and the twinkle in his eyes will always be remembered. Lots of hugs, Vera.

June and I came out to Canada twice and stayed with you and Jackie. Although you had known June for many many years we had not met. You made me extremely welcome and I had a fantastic time including many hours sat in front of the TV watching the Blue Jays with a beer or a glass of Glenlivet!. RIP Mike

Although I will not be with Jackie and Mike's family on Tuesday I shall be thinking of you all on this sad day. There are not enough words / space here for me to express how much I loved Mike and how my visits to Canada shaped my life. Mike's generousity and laugh are my stand out memories among so so many. Rest in peace dear Mike and just simply Thank you.
